DJ Don't Mix 2006 Remix Fix was made for The Great Ham Jam 2016 under the theme of 'Things That Don't Mix'. We adopted the theme into rivaling DJs who, instead of doing their jobs (or 'mixing'), focus too much on battling against one another.
DJ Don't Mix 2006 Remix Fix landed 2nd place in the Great Ham Jam
Players take the rolls of rival DJs and build stages in order to capture the attention of the audience. They then must play opposing tracks in order to draw their audiences towards their stage and capture all the fame for themselves.

DJ DON'T MIX 2006 REMIX FIX
With a team of only two and 48 hours to complete the game, workflow and time management were the biggest challenges our team had to overcome. My role was primarily that of lead coder and manager, since my partner had little experience making games previously and required assistance throughout the process.
Ultimately our game landed us in second place out of over a dozen teams and taught me the value of building a game with a target audience in mind, in this case a trio of judges with a three minute judging time.
The experience was great in teaching me how to work patiently alongside those who are less experienced with the game development process, as well as how keeping and game and scope manageable for the manpower provided.
Won 2nd place at the Great Ham Jam 2016 out of over a dozen teams!
